E-Type began his music career in 1991 when he and Stakka Bo had a band and released a few singles without much success. It was when he as a solo artist started working with Denniz Pop and Max Martin in 1994 that the big breakthrough came. "Set The World On Fire" was the single that was played on every radio and at every disco in Sweden. After that, E-Type has been a "hit machine" and released songs such as "This Is The Way", "Here I Go Again", "Russian Lullaby", "Paradise", "Life", "Angels Crying", "Campione 2000 ″… and the list does not end there..

E-type is one of the country's most reliable suppliers of radio hits. Songs that both fill the clubs' dance floors and draw crowds of spectators to concerts. At that point, it may not really be that much that has changed since the debut. It has only become more. In the autumn of 2011, E-Type was part of the Swedish TV program "Så mycket bättre". It was in connection with that participation that he last released new music. Among other things, he went up on iTunes first place with his interpretation of Laleh's song "Snow".

During the summer of 2019, E-type returned with the song "Ride The Lightning" which, among other things, could be heard in a popular TV commercial.
